Who runs TopTake

One person, in Shumen, Bulgaria.

I am Nurdzhan Kerimov. I build TopTake on my own, under the name Digital Rose. There is no company with a team behind it — one developer, who reads every email that arrives himself.

I would rather say it plainly: when a site speaks in the plural and there is really only one person behind it, that already tells you how it treats transparency, and everything else.

TopTake exists because good projects are often hard to find and almost impossible to compare. The weekly board resets every Monday. That means first place has to be won again every week — by the project that deserves it now, not by the one that simply arrived first.

What the money does

Boosts are paid to TopTake, not to the projects. They add Momentum on a curve of diminishing returns: a €50 boost does not bring fifty times the Momentum of a €1 one. That is deliberate, and it is the difference between a ranking and an auction.

Voting is free, needs no account, and carries the most weight for most projects. The full formula is published on how ranking works — including the part that explains how money affects the result.

Getting in touch

Write to me about anything: a project that should not be on the board, a correction to published information, a refund, or removing a project.

Your message reaches me directly, not an impersonal support queue.
